First and foremost, PLEASE read
our Criteria. Click on Apply on
the top navigation bar. After reading the Criteria,
you can take the Self
Test which will direct
you to the application itself - but only if
you successfully pass the Self Test. There
is no other route to the application.

After you complete the Application
Form, you will have the option to
take a Nominee Badge with you.
|

|
|
When we receive your application,
we will take a look to be sure your application
is complete. If not, your application will
be deleted and you will be notified. So, please
be sure to fill out the application carefully
and provide all necessary information!

|
When we have received your
completed application, you will receive an
email with your status URL and code.
|
| |
|
|
Next, we'll make the first visit to your
site to see if it contains anything, at first
view, that would disqualify your application.
If we find any disqualifying factors, you'll
be notified of the issue(s) and the evaluation
will end at this point. You'll have to wait
90 days before re-submitting your application.

Your site will be evaluated based
on the VSDA Criteria. |

|
|
Your site will be visited by at least 3 Evaluators
who will score your site according to the VSDA
Criteria and Scoring. |

|
When we have fully reviewed your website -
which may take 60
days - you will receive an e-mail with
the results of the evaluation along with Evaluators'
comments. The email will include the link to
your Award graphic, if your site earned one.

|
Winners will be added to the applicable Winners
List. All winners will be listed with a screen
shot, site description and a link to their
sites.

|
If you did not earn an award, you may re-apply
after a 90-day waiting period (from the date
you received the results notification), provided
you've made applicable updates/improvements
to your website. |
